Still, this place is a foundation carved full of memories.
Literally.
We may not be able to climb the trees or play by the fireplace any longer,
But you can bet we will remember every time we step on the ash-stained limestones that will be placed in our garden.
We will miss you, dear farmhouse.

This is very touching, Erin. It is amazing how much an inanimate object - like this house - can stir so many feelings and emotions within us. Your photos have preserved this home and land beautifully. Mark's grandparents would be proud! -Melanie
